Julie Morrice is an artist and lover of all things glass. As a DIY enthusiast Julie has a passion for learning new skills and utilizing unconventional materials. She first began exploring the world of glass utilizing resources available around her: second hand textbooks, online forums, youtube videos, and instagram connections. She has since taken a wide variety of classes in the glass arts, expanding her skills to include stained glass, fusing, mosaics, jewelry making, and coldworking. She holds an MA in Education and is passionate about helping others on their own educational and creative journey. Julie’s work can be found at local pop ups, juried art shows, and art studios throughout the Bay Area. Classes are available at Public Glass in San Francisco and occasionally at Friends of Sharon Arts in Golden Gate Park.
